Healthcare Remote Monitoring
Monitoring cardiac patients in the comfort of their own home.
A chort of patients that require monitoring by specialist nursing staff at home were unable to record and transmit the data points and observations captured during a visit to a patient. Escalations would take place via phone calls without time series data evidence to understand how the health of the patient had been in the prior periods of care.
The solution was first developed in Power Apps and Power BI to provide a proof of concept for clinicians and specialist nurses to understand if a digital solution would improve the visibility for clinical staff and patients. The proof of concept was a success and a more formal project was initiated to help find a suitable partner to build a scalable remote monitoring platform that could be distributed across healthcare settings.
This product has enabled children to leave hospital earlier and return home to recover and be monitored in a more comfortable and familiar environment.
