Introducing Azure DevOps
We implemented Azure DevOps to provide governance and control. This reduced data warehouse and reporting issues.
Problem
The NHS Trust had a large data warehouse with hundreds of changes per month. However, the version control software in place was out-dated and not integrated in the development and release cycle, offering no governance or protection for the production environment. The team also used Agile methodologies to deliver projects but lacked the software to track this appropriately.
Solution
Modeii looked for potential solutions and recommended and implemented Microsoft Azure DevOps. This addressed the issues identified and improved project delivery and more importantly increased the stability of the data warehouse and its processes by enforcing governed procedures around test, sign off and release of development.
